Seafood preserves

Cyclopterus Lumpos or lumpfish is a marine fish widespread in the area from the north of Norway to the Gulf of Gascony. It lives mainly on the rocky bottoms from a depth of a few cm to 400 m.

Lumpfish roe is found in very shallow waters, and consists of small red or black spheres. Smeralda selects the roe harvested from the cold, clear waters and offers it in various forms, together with Cuttlefish Ink, ideal for the preparation of tasty "black" spaghetti or risotto dishes.
