Smoked salmon

Salmon are born in the rivers, they swim down to the sea and then again force their way upstream against the current along the rivers to lay their eggs in cold, oxygen-rich pools, after which they usually die. It is one of the most sought-after fish on the market, rich in Omega3 fatty acids, a great help in combating cardiovascular diseases and lowering cholesterol levels.

Although not a fish which lives and breeds in our territory, it is now widely consumed in Sardinia and the rest of Italy.
